Well the New Year has hit us with a bang with all the windy weather!!

Christmas was wonderful as we had the pleasure of Marco the Magician at our party who entertained family, residents and staff with his magic tricks and singing … Muriel really enjoyed joining in and is still talking about how she enjoyed it.

Surprise of surprises, Santa turned up in the middle of the party but he did rather resemble Peggy’s son!

We say a warm welcome to Amelita and Eloisa who have travelled from the Philippines to work for us and are wondering if they brought the hurricanes with them when they flew over here?

A new activity schedule has been planned and will commence in January.

Foot spas, manicures and bingo are just some of the things we will be doing but any new suggestions will be gladly welcomed.

The new choice of menus seems to be very popular and we now have 3 different meals to offer each lunchtime.

I would like to thank residents and visitors for all the Christmas gifts both I and the staff received, and would also like to thank the staff who went shopping for the residents Christmas presents, it was greatly appreciated.
